Through a unique interdisciplinary approach, the Bachelor of
Science in Leadership Studies degree completion program
offers students opportunities to enhance their understanding and
practice of leadership by exploration and application
of leadership skills and research with diverse groups,
organizations, and communities through a variety of learning
activities.
A degree in Leadership Studies is intended to help
students advance in a variety of careers, including business,
non-profit management, government, and social services, among
others. In addition, the program can lead to continued study
in a number of programs, such as master’s degrees in Public
Administration, Social Work, Business Administration, and other
disciplinary-specific graduate programs.

The Bachelor of Science in Leadership Studies Degree Completion
program is designed to meet the needs of working adults. The
online format makes course lectures, readings, assignments, and
communication with instructors and classmates highly accessible
to students. Online courses are identical to face-to-face courses
in terms of content and course learning outcomes. The
program follows a cohort-based model, with courses delivered in
8-week sessions.
