How do I register with Continuing and Professional Education for Winter Session?

Current Stan State students register at myStanState.  All other students, fill out the online registration form.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is $375 for undergraduate students, $385 for credential students, and $400 for graduate students. Some courses require course fees.  See the class schedule.

What would happen if I do not pay tuition on time?

All classes registered in the same registration period must be paid in full; otherwise, it would result in disenrollment for classes that are registered in the same period (paid and unpaid).

How long are Winter Session courses?

Classes are three weeks long.

Is there financial aid available?

No, financial aid is not available for Winter Session.

How do I contact instructors?

Contact information for instructors can be found on the Stanislaus State website A-Z directory under the faculty/staff search bar.

Where can I view the class schedule?

You can view the class schedule on the campus website.

How can I order transcripts?

There are several ways to order transcripts.  For more information please visit Transcript Request.

Where is the Continuing and Professional Education office located?

We are located in the Mary Stuart Rogers Building, Suite 380, at One University Circle Turlock, CA.

When does registration begin?

Can anyone take classes through Winter Session?

Yes, as long as you do not have a hold on your account.

When is the late add/drop period?

Is there a fee for late add/drops?

Yes, there is a $25 late fee to add a course.

I am disqualified from Stanislaus State, can I still take a winter course?

Yes, you will need to fill out the online registration form.

Will I be disenrolled if I do not pay my fees?

Yes, the disenrollment date for non-payment of fees can be found on the How to Register page.

When is the last day to pay fees?

When is the last day I can get a full refund?

What is the maximum number of units I can register for during Winter Session?

There is a 7 unit maximum- exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis by academic advisors or faculty.

Will I be getting a registration appointment?

No, winter registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

When will I know if a class is canceled?

Decisions to cancel a class due to low enrollment will be made mid-December.  Students will be emailed if their class is canceled.

Will I be getting a refund if a class is canceled?

Yes, you will receive a full refund for canceled classes. 

When do I need a permission number to add a class?

You will need a permission number to add during the late add/drop period.
