A maximum of 7 units may be taken during Winter Session.

Please note: Students who do not attend the first class meeting after registering for a course may be dropped by the instructor. However, a student is responsible for dropping unwanted courses. 

All classes registered in the same registration period must be paid in full; otherwise, it would result in disenrollment for classes that are registered in the same period (paid and unpaid).

Policies for Refunds & Late Add/Drops

Refund Policy for Dropped classes:

All tuition fees will be prorated.

100% First day of session (January 2)
85% Second day of session (last day to add/drop January 5) 
75% Third day of session (January 6) Withdrawal only
65% Fourth day of session (January 7) Withdrawal only

No refunds after the fourth day of session.

Any student whose class is canceled due to low enrollment will receive a full refund of their tuition fees.

Policy for Late Adds & Drops

  • Current Stan State students register through myStanState
  • All other students add/drop through Continuing and Professional Education
  • Drop form is required

Disenrollment occurs on unpaid accounts on the following dates after the payment deadline:

Holds will be placed on student accounts for unpaid fees; however, students will not be dropped during this time. If students want to drop a course, they must submit a drop form. If a drop form is not submitted, students will still be responsible to pay their fees.
