Financial Aid

Application Process

We strongly recommend beginning the financial aid process as early as possible by completing and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) even if you are undecided about accepting aid. The financial aid application typically takes about 4 weeks to process. Use Institution Code 001157 when completing your application.

Eligibility

While CaPE programs are generally eligible for financial aid, individual student eligibility may vary. It is important to contact the Financial Aid Office to confirm your specific eligibility.

Types of Financial Aid Available

Graduate and Credential Programs:
  • Federal Direct Loans (unsubsidized only)

Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Benefits

If you receive VA benefits, the duration of your program may impact your aid. Please contact your VA counselor or the Veteran’s Affairs department on campus at (209) 667-3081 for additional guidance.

Additional Funding Opportunities

Scholarships and grants may be available depending on your specific program. Contact your program specialist for further details. Additionally, explore tuition reimbursement opportunities with your employer or consider pursuing a private loan.
