Program Overview

The Online RN-BSN program provides students who are already Registered Nurses (RNs) the opportunity for educational and professional advancement. This program is designed to meet the needs of working registered nurses and allows them to explore new perspectives by learning with other nurses. Students are able to apply real-world solutions in their current positions immediately.

BSN graduates are also eligible to apply for a California Public Health Nursing Certificate that permits them to work in community health settings. The current curriculum consists of Community Health Nursing (3) units and Community Health Nursing Practicum (2) units. Nursing courses are offered online, except for one 90-hour clinical course in community health nursing. Placements for this course are available within the Stanislaus State service area.

Student Testimonials

This program gave me the knowledge and skills for leadership positions as an RN, as well as expansive critical thinking skills. The program also equipped me with a public health certification; a unique addition to the BSN degree upon completion.

Danielle Parks
Online RN-BSN Alum

Due to my daughter being high risk for COVID-19, the pandemic put my nursing goals on hold. This program was a godsend to keep my education continuing and opening new paths for me in the medical field.
