How to Apply

We are now accepting applications for Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Concentration.

Spring 2027 - Applications will be accepted August 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026
Priority Decision Deadline: October 1, 2026
(Please note- if maximum enrollment is reached prior to this end date, the application will be closed early)

Transfer Admission

If you are a transfer student, the following steps will be required for admission to the program:

Apply online to Stanislaus State 

Please make sure that you have submitted UNOFFICIAL transcripts for all schools attended to your application.

*This application is for both the University and the Health Science program. There is a $70 fee to apply to the University. This fee may be paid online when you apply.

Please note: OFFICIAL transcripts from each college attended (including in-progress) must also be sent electronically to CAPEtranscripts@csustan.edu. If your college does not have an electronic transcript option, please mail your official transcripts to:

Current Stanislaus State Student

If you are a current Stanislaus State student, the following steps are required to change your major to Health Science:

  1. Complete the Pre-Admission Form form
  2. Email the completed form to the Program Director, Mechelle Perea Ryan, mperearyan@csustan.edu
  3. Once you receive confirmation that you meet all program entry requirements, you must then complete the change of degree form

Pre-Admission Day Events

Our Health Science Pre-Admission Events are designed for students currently enrolled at the host community college. 

Meet one-on-one with Stanislaus State admissions and program staff to review your transfer eligibility, evaluate Health Science prerequisites, receive application assistance, and learn your next steps toward admission. 

Students who complete the full pre-admission process and meet program requirements may be considered for priority admission, based on eligibility, available program capacity, and completion of all required steps.
