Program Application Requirements
- Apply to the University on Cal State Apply
- Complete Program Application
- GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 units required
- Personal statement
- Certificate of Clearance or a copy of valid Teaching
Credential/Substitute Permit
- Two academic and/or professional references from individuals
who can address qualifications for study in counseling,
scholastic readiness, and academic proficiency
- Paid application fee
- Official copies of transcripts for all previous college
work
- Stan State Alumni, who have not attended elsewhere since
graduation, do not need to submit new transcripts
Official transcripts from each college attended (including
in-progress) must be sent electronically to CAPEtranscripts@csustan.edu.
If your college does not have an electronic transcript option,
please mail your transcript to:
