Participation is open to Stan State full-time lecturers and
tenure/tenure-track faculty (Unit 3). Space is limited.
Academy applications will be reviewed by members of the
International Education Advisory Committee and should include:
- Narrative (maximum of 750 words) describing a short-term
study abroad program you might develop or champion, including:
- Program/experience name, course connected to the
experience, timing for physical mobility, vision of on-site
activities, length of program, location, anticipated
enrollment
- Previous/related personal and/or professional experience
facilitating study abroad/away or other off-campus student
activities as applicable
- Previous/related personal and/or professional experience
in the proposed study abroad location as applicable
- Previous/related experience incorporating
global/international/intercultural content in the
curriculum as applicable
- Statement of support from department chair/program director
also noting relationship between the proposed experience
and academic program, general education, graduation, and/or
accreditation requirements as applicable
- Abbreviated CV (up to 3 pages)
- For the Ensenada-based Academy – Copy of picture page of
passport (expiration date must be at least six months after
program end)
