City: Korea University is located in Seoul, with a population of over 20 million in its metropolitan area, is one of Asia’s largest cities and is the political, financial and cultural center of Korea.
University: Korea University is a top-ranked “Ivy League” private university in the country. It has received worldwide recognition for its excellence, as one of the few private universities in Asia to be ranked among the top 200 universities by The QS World Rankings 2010.
The university offers a buddy program to assist exchange students in getting settled into the university. Exchange students may also participate in various clubs such as Korean Dance Club, Photography, Drama, Sports Club and a Choir group. Many of the club field trips include visits to palaces, museums and the Folk Village.

Tuition: Same tuition cost as home CSU campus.

Korea University (KU) offers a summer school program that offers an intensive academic experience designed for undergraduate students seeking to earn academic credit while engaging with globally relevant themes. Courses are delivered in a compressed summer format and emphasize applied learning, intercultural competence.
Programs are structured to be accessible, credit-bearing, and
aligned with degree progress across a wide range of majors.
KU offers diverse English-taught courses in a varierty subject
areas, and are taught in an intensive format (four or six weeks)
in July and early August.

Four-week courses are designed for students seeking an accelerated academic experience. Courses meet frequently and require substantial independent study.,
Six-week courses allow for deeper engagement with course material over a longer period and are slightly less compressed pace than the four-week session

Each KU course consists of 48 total hours of instruction.
Each class hour is structured as 50 minutes of instruction followed by a 10-minute break.
