Day City/Place Activities
1 Berlin: Arrival Check-in. Walk around hotel neighborhood, group activity.
2 Berlin: Jewish Berlin Visit to the old Jewish neighborhood in Berlin and learn about the Jewish community in Germany in general and Berlin in particular. We finish the day visiting the Jewish Museum of Berlin.
3 Berlin: Rise of Hitler to Power & Memorials Walk through Unter der Linden avenue, stopping at iconic sites that focus on the process that led Hitler to power, the consolidation of his dictatorship, the anti-Jewish measures, and the path to the Final Solution. We end the first part at Brandenburg Gate. The second part of the day, we visit the different memorials of the victims of Nazism. We finish the day visiting Topography of Terror museum, Checkpoint Charlie and parts of the former Berlin Wall.
4 Ravensbrück Travel by train to Furstenberg-Havel. Walk to the site where Ravensbrück – a former women’s concentration camp – was. Visit to Ravensbrück.
5 Berlin: Free Day Free day to explore Berlin
6 Berlin-Warsaw We travel by train from Berlin to Warsaw.
Hotel check-in. Walk visit to Warsaw’s Old Town. Free time.
7 Warsaw: Jewish Warsaw Visit to the Jewish Cemetery in Warsaw. We then go to the Jewish Historical Institute. We finish the day at Polin Museum (Jewish history in Poland).
8 Warsaw: Ghetto Warsaw Walk through the streets and places where the Warsaw Ghetto was and learn about life and survival in Warsaw Ghetto. We finish the first part of the day at the Umchlagplatz – deportation square.

The second part of the day, we walk and learn about the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
9 Warsaw-Treblinka We begin the day at the Umchlagplatz – the deportation square, where the Nazis sent the Jews of Warsaw to their death. From there we travel to the site where the extermination camp of Treblinka was. Learn about the history of Treblinka.

Travel to Bialystok. Check-in and free time in Bialystok. 
10 Bialystok-Tychochin-Lupochova We begin the day visiting the site of the old synagogue in Bialystok, where more than a thousand Jews were killed by the Nazis. From here we travel to Tykochin, and old Jewish shtetl – rural town – where we will learn about Jewish life in this town. We then travel to the nearby forest of Lupochova, where the Jews of Tykocin were murdered and buried in three large pits.

Travel to Lublin. Check-in and free time in Lublin.
11 Lublin: Majdanek We visit the former concentration and extermination camp of Majdanek.
Travel to Krakow. Check-in and free time in Krakow.
12 Krakow: Kazimierz & Podgordze Visit to the old Jewish neighborhood of Kazimierz, where we learn about more than 500 years of Jewish history in the town. Walk through the streets and visit some of the old synagogue.

In the afternoon, we walk to Podgorze, the site where the Krakow Ghetto was. We learn about life in the ghetto.

Visit to the site of Schindler’s Factory.
13 Auschwitz-Birkenau Visit to the concentration and extermination camp of Asuchwitz-Birkenau.
14 Krakow: Free Day Free day in Krakow
15 Krakow: Departure

Transport to airport and return.

We generally begin the day at 9am, after breakfast, and finish around 5pm. The days in which we travel or visit some of the camps, the hours may change.
